Selvana ("we", "us") is a property marketing and curation service. This policy explains how we handle personal information collected through this website, in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).

We collect information you provide directly, through the forms on this site:

Your name and email address (contact form, newsletter/waitlist signup)
Property location and details, if you enquire as a seller
Any message content you choose to include

We do not currently use tracking cookies or analytics on this site. If that changes, this policy will be updated to reflect it.

Why we collect it

We use this information to:

Respond to your enquiry as a prospective buyer or seller
Notify you when new listings become available, if you've asked to be notified
Pass your enquiry directly to the seller, where you've contacted us about a listed home

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for purposes beyond what you've contacted us for.

Who we share it with

Form submissions on this site are processed by Web3Forms, a third-party service that delivers form data to our inbox by email. We do not control their infrastructure directly — see their own privacy policy for how they handle data in transit.

Where you enquire about a specific property, we pass your details directly to the seller of that property so they can respond to you. We do not share your information with any other party.

We do not share your information with any other third party without telling you first.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry information for as long as it's relevant to an active conversation or listing, and delete it once it's no longer needed — or sooner, if you ask us to.

Your rights under POPIA

You have the right to:

Ask what personal information we hold about you
Ask us to correct or delete it
Object to how it's being used
Withdraw consent at any time (for example, unsubscribing from listing notifications)
